Happy August, everyone! Hope you’re all enjoying the summer. (Please slow down!) Since there are some new friends in this space, I wanted to say a big thank you for following along with me. We have taken a few fun trips already this summer, and we are about to travel more this month. I love August because it always means vacation time for us. So, what am I packing? Here are a few of my summer essentials.

First up, sunscreen is a must for me and my kids too. We all love the Beautycounter sunscreen stick, it’s easy to put it on your face, it is easy to carry around in any size bag, and even fits in your pocket. From sunscreen to hats, I wear anything to protect my face from the sun, which brings me to my number three thing I’m packing for vacation, hats! This is my favorite hat this summer from Hat Attack. It’s stylish and keeps my face covered when I am outside. They really have the cutest hats!

The fourth thing I’m packing for my vacation is books. This summer, it is this brand new thriller called “Pretty Revenge” by my friend and best-selling author, Emily Liebert. She was also a recent guest on my Podcast, and shared all her secrets to writing so many successful books.

The fifth thing I’m packing is what I’ll be wearing. My favorite BOHO chic dress from Amazon. I have literally been wearing this dress on repeat all summer long, and for about $28*, you really can’t beat it! For breezy beach days or chilly nights, I never leave home without my go-to fleece from Dudley Stephens. The eco-friendly brand is crushing it on Instagram, and on my podcast too.

Give me all the headbands! Anthropologie sells my favorite ones that jazz up any outfit, or to be honest, they also help hide a bad hair day! LOL. I also pack my go-to summer sandals from Tory Burch. Yes, I splurged and I am not mad about it. They are worth every penny because they have been on my feet all summer long. And sunglasses. I really can’t own enough pairs of sunnies. I am still loving these from the stylish brand KOHV eyewear as well as my adorable heart ones from Amazon. They are too cute to pass up!
