Are you ready to give back? Let’s do it together!
I was planning to do a FUN giveaway this weekend for all of you to learn more about Beautycounter’s safe products, as well as a great brand of sunnies that I am loving called DIFF.
When you support DIFF, you are helping someone in need. For every pair of sunglasses sold, DIFF donates a pair of reading glasses to rural Africa. I am LOVING all their sunglasses, and I know you will too.
Now my plans have changed due to MOTHER NATURE! In addition to being able to WIN a FREE pair of these fabulous sunnies, I am also going to be giving back some of my sales from this Beautycounter shopping event to the AMERICAN RED CROSS.
Do you take your shoes off at the front door? If you answered no, then you are most likely bringing in all types of germs and bacteria into your house. A study done by the University of Arizona found an average of 421,000 different bacteria on shoes. That’s a lot of bacteria!
The biggest culprits were the following: Escherichia coli (E. Coli), which can cause intestinal and urinary tract infections, meningitis and diarrheal disease; Klebsiella pneumonia, which can cause infections in wounds and bloodstream, and can cause pneumonia; and Serratia ficaria, a rare infection that can make its way into your respiratory tract and wounds.
It’s that time of year again when the kids are back to school and we’re all running around trying to adjust to the schedule. Frankly, it’s been exhausting and I am now convinced September is just one of the most hectic months of the year! 🙂
Getting the kids fed, dressed, combed, and in the car by 7:30am calls for a quick morning makeup fix (because time is limited and mommy is on the go)!
So to make it easy with no time to spare, I’ve put together this 3 minute makeup look that’s fresh, flawless and lasts all day, using only four products! It’s an easy morning routine.
Keeping a healthy balance between work and family life, especially as we transition from the school year into summer, can be a little tough. Let’s be honest! With the kids around more often, sometimes we want to pull our hair out as we try to keep them entertained and work at the same time. I think this is a period of adjustment for all of us—the kids go from a rigid school schedule to a much more relaxed schedule, so this is a challenging transition for sure.
Hi! Thanks for stopping by. Life throws us a lot of curve balls—it’s how you react that matters. From a TV broadcasting career to getting married and having children, to taking a leap of faith and becoming my own boss, there’s a lot I’ve learned along the way. Not only that, but I find myself surrounded by people like you with similar experiences, individuals who are advice-seekers, individuals who are looking to connect and discuss the why, the how, and the everything in between. It was then I realized that my next mission would be to start blogging as a tool to share my knowledge, reveal my creations, help small businesses grow, bring awareness about fitness and health, and so much more. As always, I will be having fun and KEEPIN’ IT REAL! Here are my two biggest goals:
