Six New Things I Am Obsessed With

Five favorite things

Even though Valentine’s Day is behind us, I thought I’d still keep the LOVE theme going for this new post.

I wanted to share six things I am loving right now. In no particular order at all, here is some stuff I am currently obsessed with.

Starbucks Medicine Ball Tea

First up is tea. It’s still sick season—my daughter had the flu this weekend, good times. One thing that I swear by when I am run down, exhausted, feeling sick, feeling like something is coming, is the medicine ball tea from Starbucks. Blame it on Jenna Bush Hager for talking about this honey citrus mint tea on the “Today Show”, causing this drink to sell out quickly at most Starbucks locations. The good news is your barista can substitute and make a good alternative when this “cold buster” drink does sell out. Cheers to healthier days ahead!

KOHV sunglasses

Second, are KOHV sunnies. I am dreaming about our upcoming spring break to our happy place, Naples, Florida. To keep me going with sunny vibes are the sunglasses from KOHV Eyewear. Thank you to my favorite bloggers, Loomis and Long, who told me all about these stylish but inexpensive sunglasses. My mantra is, you can never have enough sunglasses in your life, especially when the price is right. Need a new pair? Use promo code BEAUTYCOUNTER for a discount on any sunglasses from KOHV Eyewear. Thank you, Loomis and Long.

Beautycounter brow gel

Third, is the NEW product alert from Beautycounter. Who knew I needed a brow gel in my life? Well, now you know too. It’s become my new go-to for framing and shaping my face. Brows are all the rage right now in beauty, and these brow gels will help you give you the perfect brow. One small touch to the brow can give the face a mini facelift. Amen to that! The Beautycounter brow gel is available in four tinted shades (I wear “Light” shade), and there’s even a clear option too. #BROWGOALS

type A deodorant

Fourth, is my favorite safe deodorant, which just came out with two new scents. Thank you, type: A, for being a safe option for a deodorant that actually works, even when I sweat like crazy from an intense workout.  Bonus: this deodorant does not stain my clothes. Winning! My new favorite scent is Dreamer, inspired by a beautiful jasmine floral scent. Remember, look for “aluminum free” when choosing a safe deodorant!

Honest Hazel eye gels

Fifth, are eye gels. I am one tired mama these days. Actually, ANY day, I am one tired mama. Luckily, these eye gels from Honest Hazel have come to my rescue. Did you hear the founder and CEO of Honest Hazel, Catherine Scott, give us the amazing story behind this clean beauty product on my podcast this week? The good news is, her eye gels help brighten and hydrate my tired, puffy eyes! TIRED EYES NO MORE! And, the even better news is that you are supporting an awesome, small business mom.

Friends from College Netflix

Last but not least, “Friends from College”. This is the Netflix show you should be binge-watching. I know we might be late to this party (how did I miss this for so long?!), but Jeff and I are both obsessed with this comedy.  The cast is phenomenal and it keeps your attention from the start, making it way too easy to binge watch! And now Nina’s got BAD news: despite the fact that Netflix just cancelled the show, there are still two seasons for you to binge on and laugh your face off. P.S. Who wants to petition Netflix with me to bring this one back?

Here’s to brighter days ahead! Thank you all for reading the blog and listening to the podcast.

With gratitude and love,

xoxo NBC
