Simple, Healthy Switches in the New Year: Here is My List

healthy switches

Are you looking to make some healthier decisions in the new year?  Simple, healthy switches are important, and if you haven’t started yet, now is the perfect time! The new year gives all of us a chance to start fresh and new. And if I can do this, so can you!

Progress not perfection is my mantra. Making small changes in your house can make a big difference when it comes to how many toxic chemicals are coming into your home.

So why should we make the switch? Research has shown that chemicals in everyday products can cause various health problems—from birth defects and infertility to certain types of cancer. According to the CDC, there are 298 environmental chemicals that have been discovered in humans, and many of these chemicals are found in household items such as cleaning products, toothpaste, hand washes, soaps, detergent, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, and the list goes on. All these chemicals in your home accumulate in the body, which can ultimately be making you and your family sick.

Once you know better, you want to do better. So, here are a few of my changes that I have made in my house over the past two years (my list is in no particular order).
